Need of the Course & Training

The world over, more and more personal, government and business information, is being generated and stored and shared on computers/mobiles. However, computers/mobiles are *not* completely trustworthy when it comes to securing your information. Thus, as an end user, you will be often held responsible for information that you store on your computer/mobile. Loss or theft of data stored on computers/mobile can be quick, but remain unnoticed until it’s too late, and catastrophic from a business/governance point of view.

Objective of the Course & Training

The purpose of Cyber Ready Secure IT User Training [DSIT-] program is to provide participants with necessary knowledge and skills to protect their information assets. The sessions will immerse candidates into an interactive environment where they will acquire fundamental understanding of various computer, mobile and network security threats such as identity theft, credit card fraud, online banking phishing scams, virus and backdoors, emails hoaxes, loss of confidential information, hacking attacks and social engineering. More importantly, the skills learnt from the session helps participants take the necessary steps to mitigate their security exposure. This course is a mixed format of theory and hands on. As a computer user, especially one with a connection to the Internet, malicious users on other machines who could be sitting on another continent specially target you. This course will teach you simple things about how you can better secure your data, identify threats, and survive and recover from computer attacks.

Who should attend

This course is designed for any computer or mobile users, *not* computer or IT professionals. It is therefore suitable for people for non-IT staff from Corporates, Banks, Manufacturers, Retailes, Healthcare, Pharma, Media, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Government departments, Academics, Universities, colleges etc, any domain or vertical for their staff, employees, senior heads/managers or students from any organizations.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of computer systems is desirable. You should have operated a computer, and preferably, used email and Internet.

No knowledge of computer programming is necessary.

Durations

40 hours (5 DAYS) or one month ( 20 days 2 hrs a day). Flexible options will be provide

 Legal Agreement

 All courses’ mission is to educate, introduce, and demonstrate hacking tools for penetration testing purposes only. Before attending this course, you will be asked to sign an agreement stating that you will not use the newly acquired skills for illegal or malicious attacks and you will not use such tools in an attempt to compromise any computer system, and to indemnify Cyberforce Academy & Research Lab with respect to the use or misuse of these tools, regardless of intent.
